This cherry moscato slush is a refreshing 2-ingredient drink that you can blend up in a flash.

I’ve always loved Slurpees, so making “adult” ones at home was simply a natural progression.

And cherries are good for ya. 😉

I am no fancy mixologist, so I tend to stick to simple alcoholic beverages when I post them. Also, for whatever reason, I dread taking photos of drinks more than anything!

These are definitely worth trying. All you need is a bottle of moscato wine, some frozen cherries, and a blender. My favorite moscato is Barefoot (no they aren’t paying me to say that). Cheap and cheerful. 😉

You can make these in like 2 minutes flat. If you don’t have a crazy expensive fancy blender that completely pulverizes the cherry skins, you can always strain them out. You don’t need to, though. I didn’t for the photos.

I added a wedge of lime for a pop of color. It’s also delicious squeezed into the wine slush. Cherry and lime just go together so well!

I bought a bag of pitted frozen cherries. That’s the easiest way to make these when cherries aren’t in season (they’re frozen at the peak of ripeness), but you can of course freeze your own cherries if you’ve got a whole bunch that you don’t know what to do with.

I’ll be sipping on these all summer.

Will you make this cherry moscato slush this summer?

Cherry Moscato Slush

A refreshing 2-ingredient adult slushie made from frozen cherries and moscato wine.
Prep: 2 minutes
Total: 2 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 (25 fluid ounce/750 ml) bottle white moscato wine (chilled)
  • 1 (21 ounce/600 g) bag frozen cherries
  • Lime wedges for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the frozen cherries and wine to a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour the slush into four glasses. If you don't want cherry skins, strain it as you're pouring it into each glass. Garnish each glass with a slice of lime. Drink immediately.

Notes

  • Recipe is easily halved if you only want to make 2 drinks.
  • I wouldn't fuss too much about quantities here. If your bag of frozen cherries isn't exactly what I list, it'll be fine.

Cherries are good for my foot codition. With the wine as a requirement in the recipe, I will enjoy it ☺️

  6. Unfortunately, I never have a whole bunch of cherries with no where to go during cherry season. . .they are my favorite fruit after all and I inhale every cherry that I come in contact with That said, this refreshingly delicious sip gives me an excuse to buy even more cherries. P.S. I did manage to find cherries at Costco this weekend. . .what can be more delicious than bulk cherries?

    1. I love cherries too!! Watermelon and cherries are probably my top 2 favorites. Mmm bulk cherries. Thanks Lynn!
