Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese (1 block Philly) softened
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1-2 ounces sliced pepperoni or to taste
  • Fresh basil to taste, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350F and move the rack to the top third of the oven.
  • Add the cream cheese to a medium prep bowl and microwave about 30 seconds or until the cream cheese is softened.
  • To the same bowl, add in the parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, and some salt & pepper. Give it a good stir.
  • Pour the dip mixture into a 1-quart baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Add the pizza sauce on top of the cream cheese layer.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella over top and then add on the pepperoni. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. You can broil at the end for a couple of minutes if needed (but watch it carefully).
  • Serve after letting it cool for 5 minutes with fresh basil sprinkled over top if desired, and use baguette slices, pita bread, tortilla chips, veggies, etc. to scoop the dip.
